BSI has an opening for an experienced Lead, Payroll Tax Accountant in our Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters.

The Lead, Payroll Tax Accountant will provide expert level payroll tax compliance knowledge to assist in the development and support of the company’s SaaS software solutions that facilitate tax calculations, payments and filings for Federal, states, territories and local jurisdictions including ACH processing and tax issue resolutions. Oversee the daily tasks of assigned Product Research Team members. Guide activities to ensure project, department and corporate goals are met.  Operates with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPP required, CPA desired
• 5+ years’ recent experience with payroll tax filing, payments, ACH processing, reconciliations and agency resolutions required
• Prior responsibility for payroll compliance including handling and approving either:
  – a large multi-state company’s high volume, complex tax reporting and filing processed in house (without using a payroll service bureau), or – a medium or larger size payroll service bureau’s high volume, complex tax reporting and filing
• Highly knowledgeable with payroll compliance regulations and processes
• Background solving complex multi-state and local payroll tax issues
• Ability to negotiate positive resolutions with payroll tax agencies
• Experience overseeing daily activities of Payroll Tax professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented; collaborator
• Strong project management and project coordination skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and SQL
• Proficiency with project management tools, such as Smartsheet is a plus
• Understanding of HRMS systems and payroll processing best practices (SAP, Workday, Infor/Lawson, and/or UKG (Kronos) are a plus)
• Ability to professionally engage with all tiers of internal and external clientele is required
• Proficiency with Salesforce for the purpose of task and ticket management, administrative functions, etc., is a plus

BSI has an opening for an experienced Cloud-based Infrastructure Architect in our Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters.

The seasoned Cloud-based Infrastructure Architect professional will have demonstrated experience in architecting cloud solutions for complex enterprise applications.  The Infrastructure Architect will also partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with BSI’s Core Values.  The environment is fast-paced, fluid, and requires high adaptability to be successful.

Qualifications:

• BS in computer science or equivalent
• 10+ years – software or infrastructure architecture experience
• This position is subject to a background check
• Strong knowledge of Cloud-based SaaS Technology Platforms
• Strong development, configuration skills, and knowledge of Cloud-based SaaS Applications
• Strong knowledge and experience with AWS EKS and container-based solutions (including Jenkins and Docker)
• Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
• Strong integration skills between Cloud-based SaaS Technology platforms and other Cloud-based platforms or Web-based applications
• 4+ years experience deploying and troubleshooting AWS technologies including VPCs, Subnets, EC2s, routing, and network design
• Advanced knowledge of AWS Compute, RDS, Storage, networking, etc. Experience in scripting and automating
• Knowledge of Linux is required
• Apache web services, Apache Tomcat, OpenJDK/Java, and MSSQL experience required
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies & templates
• DataCenter Operational experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with OO principles and SQL, Java, Oracle, SOAP, XML a plus
• Experience with financial, accounting and/or HR applications a plus
• Experience with corporate security
